Murder mystery and more entertainment in Plum and Oakmont this week

Looking for something fun to try in Plum and Oakmont this week?

Here are some options:

• Mystery’s Most Wanted presents “I Loathe Lucy” from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Oaks Theater, 310 Allegheny Ave.

Pittsburgh’s best murder mystery troupe returns to Oakmont with a Valentine’s Day case inspired by the hit TV show “I Love Lucy.”

Tickets range from $15 to $20. More information is available at theoakstheater.com.

• Plum Community Library hosts STEAM Story Time, a program for 4 and 5 year olds with their caregiver, from 1-1:45 p.m. Tuesday at 445 Center-New Texas Road.

This week theme is about Valentine’s Day.

• Preschool Pals at the Plum library is for 3-5 year olds 11-11:45 a.m. Wednesday. There will be stories, crafts, singing and games.

• Oakmont Carnegie Library hosts Gentle Yoga with instructor Cora Fetchko from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday at 700 Allegheny River Blvd.

It is open to all skill levels. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel.

• Meditation with a Monk is set for 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Oakmont library. Join the monks from Natrona Height’s Pittsburgh Buddhist Center for an hour of relaxing meditation. The program is offered every Tuesday evening.

• Book Buddies Story Time is offered at the Oakmont library from 10:30-11 a.m. Wednesday.

The program is designed for children ages birth to 5 years old with their caregiver. There will be crafts and stories. This week’s theme is Valentine’s Day.
