More than 80 students in grades K-4 at Plum Borough School District’s Center Elementary packed the school’s cafeteria for a fun learning experience in the arts. An after school activity, coordinated by The Crafty Shack in Harrison City and Center Elementary PTA and volunteers, has grown since its inception more than 15 years ago. Former district teacher Libby Clark is the coordinator. It’s held twice a year, featuring a different theme each time. On Jan. 22, the theme was Frosty the Snowman mugs.
Police say the Plum teacher accused with his wife and a 17-year-old of stealing lawn equipment, sheets, a washing machine, five suits and a broom shared a driveway with the house they allegedly broke into.
